Jennifer was a photographer at a local studio in Minnesota from mid 1996 until late 2000, taking portraits of families, children, engagements, business professionals, and some wedding parties.  She started her own business "Creative Portraits by Jennifer" in February of 1998 photographing seniors, children, and pets.  In May of 1999, she photographed her first wedding.  In 2001, Gordy and Jenny met while they were both volunteering at a local Christian night club (Club 3 Degrees, formerly The New Union).  Gordy got his start in photography shortly before we were married in October of 2002.  Since then, he's been an assistant photographer at weddings with Jennifer and he also shoots weddings of his own.

We use special posing and lighting techniques to make people look their best and we have a creative photography style when it comes to photojournalism and traditional posed photographs.  We are very confident in our skills and we believe that this is the career that God has chosen for us.  We love every minute of it!  God has blessed us with a great rapport with our customers.
